After you win your Social Security Disability Administrative hearing the Judge may write the opinion himself, or more likely he will have a decision writer write the decision. Due to the backlog of cases and the amount of decisions that must be written it is not unusual to wait 30 days to 6 months to receive your disability decision. The length of time can vary depending on where you live and the number of backlogged cases. Contact the SSA at 1-800-772-1213 if you need specific information about your disability decision.

If you would like a disability attorney to review your claim you can fill out the FREE evaluation form and a disability advocate will call you to review your claim or you can call our office at 1-800-641-3759 to talk to someone now.
