I am not sure if you are referring to retirement or disability benefits. If you are referring to retirement benefits you will need to contact the SSA for information. They can be reached at 1-800-772-1213.

If you are asking about Social Security Disability Insurance benefits you may be entitled to your ex-husband's disability benefits under the following conditions:

If You were married for at least ten years to a disabled worker who is entitled to SSDI you may be entitled to benefits under the following conditions:

•If the insured worker has filed a claim for SSDI, the divorced spouse is 62 years old or older.
•If the insured worker hasn’t filed a claim for SSDI, both spouses are 62 years old or older and they have been divorced for at least two years.
•The divorced spouse is eligible for the mother’s or father’s benefit—note in this case the ten-year rule doesn't apply (see description below)

    Mother's or Father's benefits:

Whether or not the spouse of a disabled worker is still married to the disabled worker, when an insured worker becomes disabled, a spouse can get benefits if the spouse cares for at least one child of the disabled worker who is under age 16 or disabled (if the disabled child is over age 22, the child must have been disabled since before age 22). These benefits are sometimes known as “mother’s or father’s benefits.”

Keep in mind your eligibility for benefits will end if you remarry or become eligible to receive significantly higher Social Security benefits on your own record.
